Classically trained in piano & guitar, Nicholas had performed in Carnegie Hall by age 12. Nicholas studied music composition at NYU and  scored his first feature film (dir. Alan Brown) and first commercial for American Express (dir. Martin Scorsese) before graduating.

After NYU, Nicholas worked as the assistant for multi platinum/multi Grammy winner Toby Gad (Beyonce, Madonna, John Legend) at his studios in both NYC and LA.

Since then Nicholas's music has been featured in hundreds of commercials for many of the worlds most recognizable brands including 'Man From the Future' starring Liam Neeson dir: Jake Scott / prod: Ridley Scott ; 'The Members Project' dir: Martin Scorsese ; Coca Cola Global FIFA World Cup campaign & Nike's Olympics Campaign. His string quartet 'Find Your Greatness' is part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC.
